Summer is Here!

There’s something special about summer in Ventura County. Even with our signature June gloom, the coastal air, longer days, and laid-back lifestyle make this one of the best times of year to get outside and enjoy everything our community has to offer.For me, summer always means getting back on the bike and exploring some of my favorite local spots. From the Bluffs in Carpinteria to the Channel Islands Harbor, there’s no shortage of beautiful places to ride. I also love heading along the Ventura boardwalk past Emma Wood, or taking the scenic route from Foster Park up to Ojai—especially when there’s a lunch stop waiting at the end.It’s these everyday experiences that make living here so special—and it’s often what draws people to call this area home.
